Despite being around for almost three years, Injustice has continued to remain relevant in an ever changing mobile market. Injustice: Gods Among Us is the kind of game this site was made to highlight. How has Injustice continued to be one of my go-to games? Constant content updates, both free and for pay. Injustice does a lot of things right, and their Challenge Mode is certainly one of them.
Injustice is a team battle game originally launched to be a companion to the console version of the game. It seems however, that the mobile app has outlived the console edition with the mobile app still seeing new content long after the console version was left by the wayside.
The Challenge Mode is a set of five challenges with the ultimate prize of a Gold character card. The character is changed out every few weeks and usually only available via the Challenge or by buying Challenge Booster Packs in the game’s store at a cost of 150000 game credits. The Challenge characters are also usually more powerful than the game’s roster of regular Gold cards.
The current challenge is for The Arkham Knight.
The Challenge Mode is almost always set up in the same manner - five challenges consisting of one where only Bronze characters can be used, another where only Bronze or Silver characters can be used, and three challenges where one particular character must be on your team. For the Arkham Knight challenge, you must have Green Arrow on your team for Challenge number 2, Green Lantern for Challenge 4, and Superman for Challenge 5.
The Challenge Mode can be played through three times, with each repetition harder than the previous. Each completion of the Challenge Mode awards you with another copy of The Arkham Knight for your collection.
The Arkham Knight is a fun character to play - his basic attacks that provides a knockdown and he quickly builds up energy for specials. The Arkham Knight is also 100% no-nonsense, with some of the most brutal moves in the game thus far.
Like all newly introduced characters, The Arkham Knight also has his own super-move cinematic.
His cinematic can also be slightly extended via his passive ability which can bring in a drone airstrike.
The Arkham Knight Challenge runs until December 23rd, 2015. If you want some help defeating all three runs of The Arkham Knight Challenge, I would suggest visiting my power leveling guide and my Challenge Mode Guide.
