Injustice: Gods Among Us Rings in the Holidays with New Update

Injustice players are getting treated again this holiday season. Developer, NeatherRealm, has just released version 2.7 of the mobile edition of their hugely successful fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us.



Right now is a great time to pick up Injustice, whether you’ve taken a break from the game or if you're downloading it for the first time. With the Arkham Knight Challenge running until the 23rd of December, and a double-XP event going on this weekend, there is already a lot going on, but NetherRealm wanted to offer more. The newest update boasts daily login rewards for players right up until New Year’s Day. Rewards range from gear to power credits and more.



NetherRealm also took the opportunity to add a future Challenge Mode that players can complete to add Apokolips Darkseid to their collection. There is no indication on when this challenge will take place, particularly since not all of the challenge characters from update 2.6 have been offered yet.



Injustice is also getting some additional gear sets which are only available through the Survival Mode. The Survival Mode and Gear Sets were only added to the game in version 2.6 back in October of this year. Survivor Mode initially only offered a single gear set but now two more Gears Sets will be available. The League of Assassins gear set will drain life, do damage over time and steal power from opponents. The Lexcorp set will absorb damage and increase a hero’s power and critical damage.
